Since 2001, Green Ivy Educational Consulting has helped high school students get organized, manage time effectively, and dramatically improve their SAT scores and GPAs. Thorough a well-planned, efficient and approachable system of organizational techniques and time management skills, Green Ivy Educational Consulting has improved the academic self-confidence and performance of countless students throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Ana HomayounAna Homayoun – Founder and Director
Since founding Green Ivy Educational Consulting, Ana has helped hundreds of students improve their GPAs, SAT scores and gain admission to colleges of their choice. A graduate of Duke University, she is an alumni interviewer for Duke University and a member of the San Francisco Chapter of Duke's Young Alumni Development Council. In addition, she spends a significant amount of time volunteering each year with children who have life-threatening illnesses. She is currently the Co-Chair of the San Francisco Bay Area Regional Advisory Board for The Painted Turtle, a camp in Lake Elizabeth, CA that is a part of the Association of Hole in the Wall Gang Camps. Ana is an active member of both the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC) and the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), participating in conferences and workshops throughout the year.

Lyndsie SchmalzAssociate
A graduate of Stanford University, Lyndsie works with students on organizational skills, SAT preparation and Spanish. Prior to her arrival at Green Ivy, she interned as an environmental educator working with children in outdoor education programs in Colorado and Montana, where she worked with educational specialists to design and implement programs for students from pre-K through high school. Additionally, as a Stanford in Government Fellow, Lyndsie worked in Sacramento to help conduct research and draft legislation on environmental issues. In her spare time, Lyndsie enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors.

Andrew Neice
Andrew works with students on Physics, Calculus and SAT work. A graduate of Yale University and Stanford Medical School, he is currently a resident at Stanford in anesthesiology. Prior to medical school, he worked as a consultant with McKinsey and Co.

Kathleen Swanson
Kat works with students on all math and science and SAT work. A graduate of Duke University, she is currently a PhD student at Cal in environmental engineering. At Duke, she was a Teaching Fellow and developed science, math and engineering enrichment activities for grades K-12.

Becca Velasco
Becca works with students on writing, SAT preparation, Spanish, and organizational skills. A graduate of Stanford University, Becca spent the past four years working as a part-time tutor coordinator for East Palo Alto Tennis & Tutoring, an after-school program for underserved youth. Additionally, she also spent three years working as a private tutor for an in-home tutoring company. Apart from her college work experiences, Becca spent many summers abroad working with children. When she isn't at work, Becca enjoys reading, jogging, and traveling.

Lisa LoBue
Lisa is our wonderful office manager and master scheduler. Lisa is currently pursuing her Masters in Counseling Psychology and Pupil Personnel Services Credential at the University of San Francisco.  She graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with her bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Social Work.  For the past 5 years Lisa has been working with the California Friday Night Live Partnership in youth development as well as serving as an Outreach Consultant to a small elementary school in the Central Valley.
